PI Price Surges Ahead of Protocol 27 Upgrade

Share

PI's price has surged 2.6% over the past 24 hours to $0.0934, driven by anticipation of the upcoming Protocol 27 upgrade on September 15.

The upgrade is expected to improve smart contract functionality and authentication, as well as add decentralized exchange and automated market maker infrastructure.

PI's price has been steadily increasing since August 25, when it hit a low of $0.0892, and the token is currently up 4% over the past seven days, 8.4% in two weeks, and 13.7% over the past month.

The addition of new applications to Pi Desktop's SoloHost platform has also contributed to the price increase, although these do not directly create demand for PI itself.
