Pineapple Financial Migrates Over $1B in Mortgage Records to Injective
Pineapple Financial has made significant progress in its plan to move more than $10 billion of residential mortgage records onto Injective. The company has already migrated over $1 billion worth of mortgage records, with a total of 2,079 records currently on the network.
Injective's native token, INJ, is used as part of Pineapple's digital asset treasury, which holds over $100 million in value. This setup allows for staking and validation through Kraken, a primary validator.
The record-based model used by Pineapple aims to digitize and operationalize mortgage data on the Injective network. Each mortgage is represented by an on-chain record with more than 500 data points, supporting verification, audit trails, and risk analysis.
