Pineapple Financial Puts $1.1B in Mortgage Records Onchain
Pineapple Financial is bringing its mortgage portfolio onto the blockchain by transferring over $1 billion in mortgage data to Injective. This move is part of a larger effort to create structured, verifiable loan-level records onchain.
The company aims to migrate over 29,000 mortgages valued at more than $10 billion onto Injective, making it one of the largest traditional finance data sets to be tokenized on a crypto network. Each record carries more than 500 data points, providing a uniform source for verification, auditing, and portfolio analysis.
This initiative is not about issuing new mortgage securities but rather creating an onchain record of existing mortgage data while the loans continue operating within their existing legal and servicing structures.
