Pineapple Financial, a Toronto-based mortgage lender listed on the NYSE American exchange, has successfully migrated over $1 billion worth of residential mortgage records onto the Injective blockchain.

This milestone marks one of the most ambitious attempts to anchor traditional lending data to a public network rather than a private ledger.

The program, which began in December 2025 with 1,259 mortgage entries, has grown to 2,079 records as of September 2026, representing a growth of roughly 48% over nine months.

Pineapple Financial's longer-term objective is to migrate more than 29,000 funded mortgages worth over $10 billion onto the network.
