Pineapple Financial Tokenizes $1B in Mortgages on Injective Blockchain

Pineapple Financial has tokenized $1 billion in mortgages on the Injective blockchain. The NYSE-listed mortgage lender aims to bring over 29,000 funded mortgages representing more than $10 billion in combined value onto the network over time.

The company's goal is to improve mortgage administration by creating a shared, auditable reference for authorized participants, reducing the need for manual alignment of ownership and servicing data.

As part of its relationship with Injective, Pineapple Financial has established a $100 million INJ digital asset treasury and stakes INJ from this treasury with Kraken serving as the primary validator.
