Pinterest Accelerates AI-Driven Services with Nvidia Partnership
Pinterest has upgraded its AI backbone by partnering with Nvidia to create a new AI layer that combines Blackwell GPUs and Nvidia's Dynamo inference framework. This new infrastructure is designed to handle the platform's massive traffic, which exceeds 80 billion searches per month.
The result of this collaboration is an impressive 85x faster response startup time and a 7.3x decrease in overall latency. Additionally, the Pinterest Assistant can now process 25 times more visual context per request, making it more efficient at analyzing images and providing recommendations to users.
Kartik Paramasivam, Pinterest's Chief Architect, describes this partnership as crucial for delivering faster and more intelligent services to the platform's user base of over 600 million monthly active users.
