Play Solana Revives PSG1 Handheld Console in Pudgy Penguins Edition

Play Solana has brought back its PSG1 handheld console in a limited edition Pudgy Penguins collaboration, now available for $349. This is a $20 premium over the standard build's price of $329.

The special edition console features the same hardware as the base model, including an octa-core ARM CPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage, but with a Pudgy Penguin design on the back panel.

As part of this collaboration, Play Solana has pledged to buy and burn $PENGU tokens for every PSG1 sale. This means that with each unit sold, some of the token's supply will be taken out of circulation.

The PSG1 console is a handheld gaming device designed specifically for Solana games, which can also emulate PS2, GameCube, and Dreamcast titles. The limited edition Pudgy Penguins collaboration is not the first themed edition of the console; BONK and JUP models have already shipped with the same $349 price point.
