Pluang Buys 4,603 Bitcoins in Substantial Investment Move
PT Bumi Santosa Cemerlang, the company behind financial application Pluang, has made a significant investment in Bitcoin. According to a recent announcement, they have bought 4,603 Bitcoins at a price of $80,300 each.
This purchase represents a substantial amount of money, with the total value coming out to approximately $368 million based on current prices. The move is part of Pluang's efforts to provide wider access to various asset classes through micro-investment products for Indonesians.
The company has been licensed and supervised by the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK) for financial derivative products with underlying securities, including Crypto Assets and Digital Financial Asset Derivatives. Transactions are recorded on Central Finansial X (CFX) and guaranteed by Kliring Komoditi Indonesia (KKI).
