PLUMBER Meme Coin Surges 10,000% on Crypto Twitter

Share

A new meme coin called PLUMBER has gained over 10,000% in value since its launch on Crypto Twitter, fueled by a viral argument between crypto veterans and 'plumbers'.

The debate started with a post from trader Frank DeGods, who claimed that early crypto traders were trading against weaker retail players he called 'plumbers.'

Commentator Threadguy pushed the point further, suggesting that legendary traders from 2017 to 2019 faced softer competition.

A developer then created the PLUMBER meme coin, which has seen its market capitalization climb from under $1 million to over $5 million in a matter of days.

The token's surge is largely due to social attention and momentum, with well-known accounts amplifying the meme and traders buying into the token. However, analyst Stitch warns that similar attention-driven rallies tend to fade, and PLUMBER carries risks.
