Plume Joins DTCC Working Group to Shape Tokenized Securities Rules
Plume has joined the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation's (DTCC) Digital Assets Solutions Industry Working Group, marking a significant step in its institutional partnerships. The blockchain network becomes a member alongside Charles Schwab, Nasdaq, and Alpaca, contributing technical feedback on the DTCC Tokenization Service.
The group aims to support wider adoption of digital assets across financial markets, with over 50 members from traditional and digital markets. Plume's entry adds a blockchain built specifically for real-world asset tokenization, designed to bring these assets into decentralized finance while meeting compliance standards.
DTCC provides custody and asset servicing for more than $114 trillion in assets worldwide, making it the leading post-trade infrastructure provider in global finance. The DTCC Tokenization Service plans to run initial limited production trades in July 2026, ahead of a full service launch in October 2026.
