Plume Network Joins DTCC Working Group to Advance Tokenization
Plume Network has joined the DTCC's Digital Assets Solutions Industry Working Group to advance digital asset adoption and improve interoperability between blockchain-based systems and traditional settlement infrastructure.
The working group, which started with over 50 firms in May 2026 and grew to more than 100 members by July 2026, aims to design how tokenized securities will work in practice. Plume's membership puts it in a room with financial institutions like the DTCC that are collectively designing custody, settlement finality, and compliance reporting for tokenized assets.
Plume's transfer agent status, registered with the SEC on October 6, 2025, allows it to maintain official records of who owns what for tokenized securities. This means Plume's blockchain is not just a ledger that mirrors a record kept elsewhere, but the authoritative record.
