Polish Lawmakers Fail to Override Crypto Veto for Third Time
Polish lawmakers failed to overturn President Karol Nawrocki's veto of crypto legislation aimed at strengthening oversight of the country's crypto market.
The Sejm, Poland's lower house of parliament, voted 241-198 in favor of overriding the veto with three abstentions but fell short of the required three-fifths majority by 25 votes.
This vote was the third attempt to advance Poland's crypto market rules after President Nawrocki vetoed the legislation three times, arguing that the proposed rules would overregulate the industry.
