Polkadot Price Struggles Under Key Moving Averages Amid Stablecoin Launch
Polkadot (DOT) continues to trade under pressure as its price remains below key moving averages. Despite recent developments in the ecosystem, such as the launch of the native dotUSD stablecoin and a Product Devnet update, DOT/USD has seen a daily decline of 7.73% to $1.038.
The introduction of the dotUSD stablecoin, which has allocated $5 million for backing and trading liquidity, was seen as an expansion of Polkadot's infrastructure. However, it failed to boost sentiment in the market. Additionally, the Product Devnet update added new mobile and desktop applications, enhanced chat encryption, and updated registries.
Technical indicators suggest persistent bearish momentum, with a projected range of $0.949 to $1.127 over the next two to three days. The probability model assigns an 78% chance to continued downward movement, while only a 22% likelihood is given for a rebound.
