Polkadot Surges Past $1, Eyes Resistance at $1.30
Polkadot (DOT) has broken back above $1, with its price currently at $1.26 after experiencing a 20% gain in the last 24 hours.
This surge in price is accompanied by an increase in trading volume, which has grown 7% during the session and now surpasses $383 million, reinforcing the technical strength of its rally.
The network activity has also recorded an increase of approximately 150%, although part of this surge is attributed to the Polkadot Products Devnet. It's essential to note that activity in development environments does not automatically equate to organic adoption on the mainnet, and treating both phenomena as equivalent would distort the reading of the ecosystem.
Polkadot's development roadmap remains a crucial factor, with its infrastructure being made more flexible and scalable through upgrades such as Agile Coretime. This replaced the previous model of long-duration parachain slots with more dynamic access to blockspace, reducing barriers for projects looking to build on Polkadot.
