Pompliano: Bitcoin Doesn't Need CLARITY Act, Banking Industry's Stakes Are Higher

Bitcoin's regulatory clarity has been solidified, according to Anthony Pompliano. As Founder and CEO of Professional Capital Management (BRR), he stated that Bitcoin already enjoys effective regulatory clarity as a digital commodity and store of value.

Pompliano emphasized that the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act) is more relevant for stablecoins and yield-bearing products than for Bitcoin itself. He argued that the debate surrounding crypto regulation isn't about providing access to yields, but rather who should be allowed to offer them.

The real substance of the bill's fights lies in the banking industry's attempt to keep crypto firms boxed out of offering yield as traditional institutions do. Pompliano believes this is a key issue for stablecoins and not for Bitcoin.
