PONS Token Price Skyrockets 46% as Market Cap Tops $300M
PONS, the token of the Robinhood Chain, has seen its price surge by an impressive 46% over the past 24 hours. The altcoin's market capitalization has crossed $300 million and is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, the platform's token trading volume has reached a staggering $4 billion.
The key drivers behind PONS' rapid growth include its increasing market reach, with listings on several decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and centralized exchanges (CEXs). The token was recently listed on Bybit, where it can be traded with up to 20x leverage. On Robinhood Chain, PONS is among the top trending products in terms of both activity and sentiment, holding 7% of the platform's mindshare.
The launchpad has generated significant revenue, with over $500 million in daily fees. This strategy has tightened the supply of PONS tokens, as 80% of the fees were used to buy back the token, leading to a permanent reduction in supply of almost one-third. The capital flow remains intact, even for whales who have acquired massive gains.
One such whale, who bought both CASHCAT and PONS, still holds 9.1 million PONS worth $4.20 million in unrealized profits. Another notable investor, Bonk Guy, purchased 1% of the supply at a market cap of $6 million and has made $5 million in profits last week.
