PONS Token Surges 46% as Market Cap Crosses $300M
PONS, an altcoin on Robinhood Chain, has seen a significant surge in value, rising by 46% over the past 24 hours and reaching a new peak of $0.49.
This increase follows a 10-day streak of making new highs, with PONS also recording high trading volumes of around $116 million.
The key drivers behind this rally are the platform's increasing market reach, with listings on several DEXs and CEXs, including Bybit, which offers up to 20x leverage. Additionally, PONS has generated significant fees, with over $500 million in daily revenue, leading to a tightening of supply as 80% of the fees went towards buying back the token.
The burning of tokens has also contributed to the surge, with almost a third of the supply being permanently cleared. Furthermore, whales who had acquired large amounts of PONS are still holding onto their profits, such as Bonk Guy, who made $5 million in profits last week after buying 1% of the supply at a $6 million market cap.
With Bollinger Bands indicating high volatility and over 2.18 million PONS being bought at press time, analysts are predicting that PONS could hit a valuation of $1 billion if the momentum continues.
