POSCO International, one of South Korea's largest trading companies, has partnered with LG CNS to tokenize its live trade receivables on the Injective blockchain. The pilot project aims to create a unified, transferable record for each receivable, carrying compliance data, ownership history, and settlement instructions.

The goal is to reduce reconciliation cycles between counterparties and banking institutions, which can take several days. For POSCO International, even shaving a day or two off settlement times translates to significant improvements in working capital management.

LG CNS has experience with tokenized deposit platforms for the Bank of Korea and has led key phases of Korea's wholesale central bank digital currency trials.
