PowerCompute Flags Going Concern Risk Amid Bitcoin Losses
PowerCompute (PWCM) has raised concerns about its ability to continue operations due to significant debt and losses in Bitcoin. According to a quarterly report filed with the SEC, the company's total assets decreased from $37.1 million at the end of December 2025 to $37.1 million at the end of June 2026, despite an increase in cash reserves from $1.4 million to $853,788.
The report highlights a substantial decrease in marketable securities, down from $37,380 to $43,110, and a significant drop in digital assets receivable, net, from $12.7 million to $10.2 million. Additionally, PowerCompute reported a loss of $979,600 on its Galaxy loan derivative asset.
The company's financial difficulties have raised concerns about its ability to continue operations. A 'going concern risk' is now flagged in the quarterly report, indicating that there may be doubts about the firm's ability to meet its obligations as they come due.
