PowerCompute Inc reported its Q2 2026 earnings on August 14, 2026, showing an EPS of $(5.26) that missed estimates by 50.29%. The company's revenue was $2.117 million, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $2.300 million by 7.96%, despite a 9.8% year-over-year increase.

The net loss widened to $4.6 million due to fair value adjustments on digital assets, primarily driven by the decline in Bitcoin prices from approximately $107,250 at the end of June 2025 to $58,400 at the end of June 2026.

Despite this, PowerCompute's core mining operations showed volume growth, with a 51.6% year-over-year increase in Bitcoin production, attributed to a higher number of active miners and decreased network difficulty rates. However, margins contracted significantly due to softer prices, with the mining margin falling to 29.0% from 41.0% a year ago.
