PowerCompute Reports Higher Revenue, Swings to Loss on Digital-Asset Valuation
PowerCompute, a bitcoin miner and emerging AI infrastructure company, reported higher revenue in Q2 2026 due to increased bitcoin production. The company mined 27.9 bitcoins in the quarter, up 51.6% from the same period last year.
Revenue rose 9.8% from $1.9 million a year earlier to $2.1 million, but was flat compared to Q1 2026. However, the company swung to a $4.6 million net loss due to digital-asset valuation losses and higher interest costs.
Management is pushing into AI infrastructure and high-performance computing, starting with a small GPU pilot and marketing available power capacity. The company has control over 26 megawatts across two energized sites in Oklahoma and Mississippi.
PowerCompute also completed a refinancing after quarter-end that cut its borrowing rate to 2% from an estimated blended 13%. Chief Executive Bruce Rodgers said, 'This is a transformational time for our company.'
