PowerCompute Sees 7% Hash Rate Boost from Upcoming Miner Refresh
PowerCompute reported its Bitcoin production and operational update for August 2026. The company mined 7.9 BTC, consistent with July's figures, but curtailed production due to seasonal heat-related issues at its Oklahoma and Mississippi sites.
This resulted in $132,000 in energy sales during the month through curtailment, adding to the $91,000 generated over the past two months.
The company's Bitcoin holdings rose to 323 BTC as of August 31, valued at approximately $25.2 million, with 307 BTC pledged as collateral under its Arch credit facility and an outstanding balance of around $21.9 million.
