PowerCompute's Bitcoin Holdings Valued at $25.2 Million
PowerCompute Inc., a company based in Tampa, Florida, has reported its Bitcoin holdings as of August 31, 2026. According to the company's press release, it holds 323 BTC valued at approximately $25.2 million at that date.
The company generated around $132,000 from curtailment during the month and brought total energy sales to about $223,000 over two months. This revenue was equivalent to around 1.7 BTC at the August 31 price of approximately $78,000 per Bitcoin.
Out of the 323 BTC holdings, 307 are pledged as collateral under the company's Arch credit facility against which approximately $21.9 million was outstanding as of August 31, 2026. The remaining 16 BTC are unencumbered.
The company has ordered around 1,000 new miners to replace older units rated at 100 TH/s or below, with the goal of increasing its active hash rate by approximately 7% to a forecasted 825 PH/s from 771 PH/s as of June 30, 2026. The new machines are expected to be energized by September 30, 2026.
