PQB Couple Loses $600K in Cryptocurrency Investment Scam

Share

A couple in PQB may have been defrauded of an estimated $600,000 after investing in a cryptocurrency fund online.

The funds were transferred over the past year to invest in the fund, which was reportedly endorsed by a well-known national politician, according to Sgt. Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are reminding people to be cautious when investing and only use trusted advisors or financial institutions.
