Privy Integrates Fiat Payments into API through Bridge Partnership
Privy has integrated fiat deposits and payouts into its API through Bridge stablecoin integration. This means that developers building on Privy wallets can now accept incoming bank transfers, convert them to stablecoins like USDC, and send funds back out to registered bank accounts without needing a separate payment infrastructure layer.
The integration includes three new API endpoints: /fiat/onramp, /fiat/offramp, and /fiat/accounts. Developers can configure a Bridge API key inside the Privy dashboard to access fiat rails. The supported rails include US ACH and wire transfers, SEPA for European transactions, Faster Payments for UK users, and Brazil's PIX network.
Bridge handles KYC and KYB verification on the backend for both individual users and business accounts. This reduces the complexity of payment processing for developers building products with international users.
