Prospect Markets Diversifies US Entry Through Introducing Broker and Exchange Member Subsidiaries
Prospect Markets has made its US entry through two separate subsidiaries, one as an introducing broker and another as an exchange member. Prospect Brokerage USA LLC is now a registered introducing broker with the National Futures Association (NFA) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), while Prospect Trading USA LLC became a member of Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA) on Monday.
The guaranteed introducing broker model used by Prospect Brokerage USA relies on Foris DAX FCM LLC, which operates as OG Broker and is related to Crypto.com. This model allows Prospect not to carry customer accounts, with the guarantor FCM liable for the acts and omissions of its guaranteed IB.
Crypto.com's standalone OG prediction-market platform was spun out this year, and both Prospect subsidiaries rely on it for exchange, clearing, and customer-account infrastructure. Prospect Markets' retail plan dates back to a non-binding July agreement with OG Broker, targeting a third-quarter launch through CDNA.
