Prospect Markets Expands US Reach with Registered Introducing Broker
Prediction markets are expanding their reach into the US market, following in the footsteps of prop firms that have adopted the introducing broker model. Prospect Markets announced that its US brokerage arm has become a registered introducing broker, joining the National Futures Association (NFA) and registering with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Prospect Brokerage USA will introduce individual customers to Crypto.com's Derivatives North America (CDNA), while Prospect Trading USA became a CDNA exchange member on Monday, giving it direct access to the platform. The two subsidiaries rely on Crypto.com entities for exchange, clearing, and customer-account infrastructure.
The introducing broker model is gaining traction in the US market, with High Roller Technologies also using Crypto.com's FCM as guarantor for its prediction-market IB. This arrangement allows consumer brands to supply the interface and customer base without owning CDNA or the clearing operation.
