Pump.fun Brings Tokenized Stock Pairs to Solana

Pump.fun, a token generation platform on Solana, has launched Custom Pairs, allowing creators to pair their tokens with a wide range of assets. These pairs can include tokenized stocks, major cryptocurrencies, metals, and other real-world assets.

Creators can select a custom pair when launching a token through the Pump.fun website or mobile app. The platform has partnerships with Sunrise and xStocksFi, which have added 20 asset pairs representing stocks such as Boeing, Alibaba, and Johnson & Johnson.

The Custom Pairs feature initially includes support for 93 custom asset pairs, with more expected soon. Pump.fun will direct 50% of revenue generated through Custom Pairs to its programmatic buyback-and-burn smart contract for the PUMP token.
