Pump.fun Expands Beyond Solana with HyperEVM Integration
Pump.fun, the popular memecoin launchpad on Solana, has expanded its reach to HyperEVM, the Ethereum Virtual Machine execution layer built by decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid. According to an announcement on X, Pump.fun now supports trading of any HyperEVM token with USDC through a single interface.
The integration goes beyond basic token support, allowing traders to earn 'callout rewards' and trade with 'near-zero fees', mirroring the low-cost model that helped Pump.fun outpace rival launchpads on Solana. This approach keeps the trading experience familiar for users who already move between memecoins and stablecoins.
Hypeliquid's mainnet went live some time ago, and Pump.fun's arrival adds one of the industry's most recognizable launchpad brands to its DeFi and memecoin ecosystem. The move follows other experiments such as BasedPad, a zero-fee launchpad on Hyperliquid, indicating that Hypeliquid is positioning itself as a rival to traditional venues for memecoin activity.
