Pump.fun Fees Top $10M Weekly as PUMP Soars
PUMP, the token associated with Pump.fun, has seen significant price action in recent times. The token's value surged by 33.8% over a seven-day period, taking it from around $0.0028 on August 11 to its current level. This rally is not only limited to price appreciation but also reflects increased trading activity and protocol fees.
Pump.fun has reported record-breaking weekly fees of $10.03 million, marking the first time it has surpassed the $10 million milestone in this reporting series. The platform's ecosystem saw a significant boost in trading volume, reaching $2.97 billion during the same period. PumpSwap handled $2.22 billion of that volume, while bonding curve activity contributed another $751.6 million.
Pump.fun surpassed Hyperliquid in 30-day revenue, generating $35.67 million compared to Hyperliquid's $32.46 million. The platform also directed half of its net revenue towards automated buybacks and burns, removing roughly 2.15 billion tokens from circulation. Cumulative burns have offset 15.7% of the original supply.
