Pump.fun Sets Record on Solana, But Token Price Remains Flat
Pump.fun, Solana's launchpad, set a record in August 2026 by earning more than $10 million in protocol fees. This is its first week above that mark and represents a twelve percent increase from the previous week.
The platform also saw $2.97 billion in trading volume, with buybacks and burns totaling 2.15 billion PUMP tokens worth $5.02 million. Revenue over the last 30 days stands at $35.67 million, outpacing Hyperliquid's $32.46 million.
Half of Pump.fun's net revenue is directed towards buybacks and burns, while the other half goes to operations. This strategy has been in place since spring, contributing to its growth.
