PVARA Receives 70 Crypto License Applications from Global Exchanges

Pakistan's virtual asset regulator has received 70 applications from companies seeking crypto licenses under the country's new regulatory framework. This strong response shows growing interest in Pakistan's regulated digital asset market.

The applications include several major international crypto exchanges, with Binance among those expected to be granted a license. The regulator wants to attract both global and local businesses to build a sector with a strong global presence.

PVARA Chairman Bilal Bin Saqib emphasized the potential for AI and digital assets to become increasingly connected in the future. He believes that AI systems could create more economic value, potentially leading to AI handling transactions through digital assets.
