Quantum Computing Stocks Heat Up as Quantum Corp Surges
Quantum Corp (QMCO) has been on a roll lately. The company's stock rose after it reported better-than-expected first-quarter results and provided upbeat Q2 revenue projections, in addition to eliminating its full debt.
The strong performance comes as the market continues to reward companies that can connect themselves to big themes of 2026. For Quantum Corp, this means staying ahead in the quantum computing space, where it's competing with other players like D-Wave Quantum (QBTS) and Quantinuum. In fact, just recently, Quantinuum announced a multi-year deal with Oracle to bring its Helios quantum computing system to Oracle Cloud.
Jim Cramer, however, took a different view on the quantum threat. He's selling his Bitcoin due to concerns that powerful quantum computers could potentially break Bitcoin's encryption in the future.
