Quantum Solutions, a Japan-listed company, has expanded its ability to sell Ether (ETH) after one of its subsidiaries sold another 1,000 ETH. The sale, which took place on July 30, brought the total amount of ETH sold under the company's policy to 1,904.

The sale price was $1,903 per ETH, resulting in aggregate proceeds of $1.903 million. However, this is still below the May 31 carrying value of $2,003.97 per ETH, leaving Quantum with a roughly JPY 17 million loss.

Quantum's ability to sell Ether has been increased from 1,875 ETH to 4,375 ETH, but only 1,714.8 ETH is currently outside the disclosed pledge. This means that the company still needs to release at least 756.2 ETH from its collateral arrangement in order to use its full remaining sale authority.

Quantum has stated that any further sales will depend on market conditions, ETH prices, progress in its AI Infrastructure Data Center business, and funding needs.
