Quantum Solutions Sells 1,000 ETH for AI Data Center Expansion
Quantum Solutions, a Tokyo-listed company, has sold 1,000 ETH for $1.903 million on July 30. The sale was conducted through its subsidiary GPT Pals Studio Limited and is expected to create a loss of about ¥17 million for the second quarter of its fiscal year, which ends in February 2027.
The funds will be used to expand the company's AI Infrastructure Data Center business, including GPU equipment and data center agreements. This sale lowers Quantum's ETH balance to 4,764.80 tokens.
Quantum has raised its ETH sale limit from 1,875 tokens to 4,375 tokens. However, most of its remaining 3,050 ETH is pledged as collateral for a loan from a Singapore-based financial company, leaving only 1,714.80 ETH available for sale. This means the company may need to release collateral or arrange new financing before it can sell the rest of its authorized amount.
