QuFi Introduces Post-Quantum Bitcoin Protection Without Changing the Blockchain
QuFi Network has developed a post-quantum bitcoin protection solution that doesn't require changing the blockchain. This solution, called QuFi, separates cryptographic verification from transaction execution, reducing the load on networks and making it easier to protect keys, transactions, and user funds.
The QuFi architecture uses a network of independent nodes that pre-verify transactions using cryptographic mechanisms and then send a short confirmation to the blockchain. This approach is based on standards developed as part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology initiative.
For practical testing, QuFi created uBTC, an experimental proof-of-concept that confirms the presence of BTC as collateral and forms cryptographic proofs for transferring value. The full uBTC cycle includes issuance, burning, and redemption, all taking place in Bitcoin Testnet4.
