QuFi Launches Post-Quantum Verification Platform with Bitcoin Testnet

QuFi Network has launched a post-quantum security layer called uBTC on Bitcoin Testnet4. This platform uses decentralized nodes to verify transactions with post-quantum cryptography before they are settled on existing blockchain networks.

The verification system separates settlement from verification, which allows it to avoid the added storage and computing demands that come with adopting larger post-quantum signatures directly on individual blockchains.

uBTC verifies BTC collateral and generates cryptographic proofs governing how value moves between settlement environments. Redemptions ultimately settle as standard Bitcoin transactions.
