QuFi Unveils Post-Quantum Verification Platform for Bitcoin
QuFi has announced the launch of a post-quantum verification platform designed to protect digital assets from future quantum-computing threats. The platform separates transaction verification from on-chain settlement, using a dedicated network of nodes for post-quantum checks.
QuFi's uBTC proof-of-concept applies this verification layer to Bitcoin Testnet, verifying BTC collateral and producing cryptographic proofs that govern how value moves between settlement environments. Redemptions settle as standard Bitcoin transactions.
The platform uses multiple post-quantum cryptographic standards, including ML-DSA-65, SLH-DSA, and ML-KEM-1024, for signatures and key exchange. This approach aims to reduce the practical friction associated with adopting post-quantum cryptography directly at the blockchain protocol level.
