Rarible Expands into Solana with Claynosaurz NFT Marketplace Launch

Rarible has expanded its reach by launching an NFT marketplace on the Solana network. The company's site now lists Solana alongside Ethereum, MegaETH, and Base as supported networks, with dedicated Explore, Mint, and Gacha pages for the network.

The launch marks a significant milestone for Rarible, which has been working on Solana for months to build and test the marketplace before its release. In fact, the company claims that it had been secretly developing the platform during this period, using its earlier Gacha Station release as a 'deliberate preview' of what was to come.

Rarible said that it spent weeks engaging with NFT communities across Solana and incorporated their feedback into the development process. The company is now live on Solana with the Claynosaurz collection as its first featured drop, and has announced plans to onboard more collections from across the ecosystem in the coming days and weeks.

This move puts Rarible on a level playing field with rival OpenSea, which added Solana support through its acquisition of Gem's counterpart in the ecosystem. The company's expansion into new networks is part of a broader strategy to extend beyond its Ethereum origins.
