Raydium LaunchLab Unlocks Custom Token Pairings on Solana
The Raydium LaunchLab platform has undergone an upgrade to support custom token pairings on the Solana blockchain. This new feature allows project creators to launch tokens against any supported token pair, giving them more control over the assets that are deployed to kickstart liquidity.
The previous limitation of relying on a limited set of quote assets is now removed, enabling developers to build markets around assets with strong relevance within their own community. This flexibility is particularly significant for Solana's active memecoin sector, where communities may wish to use specific ecosystem tokens for trading or incentives.
LaunchOnSF's StonkFun has become the first live integration of this new custom-pair model, which has already seen a significant drop in deployment costs from 0.29 SOL to 0.03 SOL. The platform has also reported over $392 million in trading volume, with approximately $219 million sent through Raydium.
