Raydium Price Soars Amid Surge in Network Activity and New Token Launches
Raydium's price has been on an upward trend, gaining nearly 9% in value over the past day. This surge follows a 41% increase from Sunday, and the token is now eyeing a potential breakout towards $1.50.
The Solana-based decentralized exchange (DEX) has seen a significant spike in network activity, with over 15 new tokenized US equities being launched on the platform. This includes popular brands such as Boeing, Costco, Reddit, and Roblox, among others.
The data from Santiment shows that Raydium's network growth is increasing, with 1,074 new addresses transferring for the first time on Wednesday. Additionally, DeFiLlama data indicates that SOL staked on Raydium reached a new high of 470,817 tokens on the same day.
The platform has also seen significant buyback activity, with $640,788 worth of RAY tokens being purchased on Wednesday. This brings the cumulative buyback to $2.1 million, which can artificially inflate the token price as long as demand remains strong.
