Raydium Surges as Stonkfun Launchpad Boom Ignites Solana DeFi
Raydium (RAY) has surged 75% after Stonkfun's launchpad exploded onto the scene, driving attention and volumes to the Solana-based token.
Stonkfun routes its liquidity into Raydium concentrated-liquidity pools, with about 60% of Stonkfun trading revenue used to buy and burn its token STONK. This integration has generated roughly $1.5 million in daily protocol revenue and saw about $89.6 million in turnover in one day, all running through Raydium pools.
Traders have taken notice of the connection between Stonkfun's success and RAY's performance, noting that 'RAY eats the pool fees' while quantifying that RAY had already 'gone up 75%'. The official Raydium ecosystem account highlighted a batch of new pairable assets on Raydium in the last 7 days.
Independent users have flagged very high APRs on Raydium pools, such as a SOL/USDC pool displaying an APR above 200%, calling activity on Raydium 'crazy stuff happening right now' and stressing that RAY's own pool token remains 'sky-high', implying strong liquidity and trading demand.
