Raydium Token Surges 61% Amid Launchpad Frenzy
The price of Raydium's native token RAY surged by 61% in just 24 hours, reaching above $1.30 from its previous range of $0.80-$0.91.
This significant increase is attributed to the growing usage tied to the StonkFun launchpad, which integrated with Raydium's infrastructure and brought a fresh wave of liquidity and speculation to the platform.
The trading volume on Raydium hit approximately $31.8 million during the spike, reflecting the substantial attention the launchpad-driven frenzy attracted.
Raydium's structural tailwind is also contributing to its success, with 12% of its trading fees allocated to fund buybacks of RAY tokens on the open market. As of late August 2026, these buybacks had removed over 30% of RAY's circulating supply.
