The Real Trump Coins project has denied any involvement in the launch of the GOLD token on the Solana blockchain.

A brief promotion for the token appeared on the Real Trump Coins X account and its website, RealTrumpCoins.com, before being removed.

The project claims that 'third-party bad actors' were responsible for the promotion, but some have questioned how both the X account and the domain could have been compromised.

A Lookonchain analysis found that 82.45% of the GOLD token's supply was controlled by a single developer and newly created wallets, with 15 wallets linked to the team selling their holdings for around $330,000 and making an estimated $312,000 profit.
