Real Vision crypto market analyst Jamie Coutts has come to the defense of Bloomberg Intelligence Senior Commodity Analyst Mike McGlone, who has faced criticism for his bearish outlook on Bitcoin.

Coutts argued that opposing views are essential for a healthy market and that McGlone's early support for Bitcoin and foresight on stablecoins should not be overlooked.

According to Coutts, McGlone was among the first to predict in 2019 that stablecoins would become a major trend, a call that has since been validated by the explosive growth of assets like USDT and USDC.

Coutts emphasized that if people cannot freely share differing viewpoints, then it can no longer be called a market. McGlone recently suggested that Bitcoin could fall toward its long-term average of around $10,000.

For investors, understanding the full spectrum of market opinions is vital. While bullish narratives dominate headlines during rallies, bearish perspectives serve as a counterbalance, helping to manage risk and set realistic expectations.
