RealFi Could Push Cardano's $1B TVL Target Within 12 Months
Charles Hoskinson believes that Cardano's RealFi project can help push the network's total value locked (TVL) to $1 billion within the next 12 months. The project aims to connect blockchain-based finance with real-world economic activity, making it easier for users in underserved markets to access financial services.
Hoskinson identified RealFi as the strongest candidate to achieve this milestone during a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session. He pointed out that the project's structure and focus on real-world applications give it an advantage over other products currently being developed across the Cardano ecosystem.
RealFi has already generated significant activity through its testnet, with more than 3,000 wallets becoming active since launch and users completing over 36,000 on-chain actions. However, the project still needs to complete several development stages and make necessary adjustments before it can reach its full potential.
