RealFi Sets Mainnet Launch Date on Cardano for October 1, 2026
RealFi has set a launch date for its decentralized finance (DeFi) platform on the Cardano mainnet. According to the team, this will happen on October 1, 2026.
The platform has been in its Pioneer Season phase since then, where more than 3,600 users have participated and completed over 40,000 quest actions on the public testnet.
This testing period allowed RealFi to collect real user activity and community feedback, which will be used to refine the platform before its mainnet debut.
RealFi's broader vision includes connecting Cardano's cryptocurrency liquidity with real-world financial activities and assets, with key products like USDr, a dollar-pegged stablecoin backed by real-world assets, and sUSDr, a yield-bearing asset designed to generate returns from the underlying real-world asset portfolio.
Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, believes that RealFi could attract billions of dollars into the Cardano ecosystem, increasing its total value locked (TVL).
