RedotPay US IPO Delayed Amid Regulatory Hurdles and Binance Dispute
RedotPay, a Hong Kong-based fintech firm, has put its US IPO plans on hold due to regulatory hurdles and a legal dispute involving Binance affiliates. The company had been targeting a US listing that could raise over $1 billion and value it at over $4 billion by the end of this year.
The delay comes after Binance affiliates sued RedotPay's founders, alleging they diverted hundreds of thousands of customers to a competing product. The plaintiffs are seeking nearly $500 million in losses.
Despite the challenges, RedotPay says its business continues to expand. It has over 8 million users across more than 100 countries and recently reported record highs in users, revenue, profit, and margins.
