RedotPay's $1B US IPO Halted Amid Regulatory Issues and Binance Lawsuit
RedotPay's highly anticipated US IPO has hit a roadblock due to regulatory issues and a separate lawsuit from Binance affiliates.
The company, which provides crypto credit card services, was planning to raise over $1 billion in its initial public offering (IPO) with a valuation above $4 billion. However, the move has been delayed, citing people familiar with the matter according to Bloomberg.
RedotPay has secured a money transmitter license in the US and is preparing to launch its services, but the company's founders are now facing nearly $473 million in damages from Binance affiliates who claim they used confidential information to build a competing payments business and poach users.
