Reform UK Ditches Crypto Ties Amid Reputation Push

Reform UK is shifting its focus away from cryptocurrency ties as it seeks to strengthen its reputation among businesses and foreign governments. The party, led by Nigel Farage, has removed crypto companies from its annual conference sponsor list.

Last year's event featured Zebec, a digital payments company, but this year no crypto firms are listed. Benefits offered to the industry, such as free tickets and access to senior Reform officials, have also been reduced.

The change comes amid an investigation into Farage's receipt of £5 million from Thailand-based crypto investor Christopher Harborne, which he was not required to declare.

Reform UK is instead highlighting its growing connections with international governments and major businesses. Representatives from nearly a dozen countries are expected at the conference, including India, Italy, Hungary, Poland, the UAE, and the US.
